A Marquee Signing for the WSL Side The forward, with six months left on her deal, is known as a prolific goal-getter for her club and the national team. She has netted over 100 goals for Bayern and scored 54 times in 82 appearances for her country. This signing is viewed as a marquee signing for the Women’s Super League side. Departure from Munich was expected since she appeared to be fighting back tears while applauding the German club’s fans following a win over Bayer Leverkusen recently. It was reported in December that the Frauen-Bundesliga was losing one of its top strikers. According to multiple sources, all the paperwork for the move have now been completed. Reliable Goalscoring to Boost the Attack The experienced striker's signing is expected to provide a major uplift to United’s forward line. Schüller has been remarkably reliable with her finishing in the Bundesliga. For seven consecutive seasons, including the most recent campaign, she achieved at least a double-figures tally of league goals. She won the Golden Boot in the 2021-22 season with a haul of 16 goals.
