Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident

The visionary game developer, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The renowned game designer lost his life when his car crashed and caught fire on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.

"This represents a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's family, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
